A Breath of Fresh Air

Ever since I got sick I've been aching to go back out there. It's ridiculous really. I feel so boxed in and confined here. It's a very strange feeling going from being out in no mans land to being trapped in a suburban house. And I REALLY don't like it.

My mom has been the absolute best I could ask for though. From running me to the doctors, to making me countless meals, to just being a wonderful mom she's definitely been busy. Thank you momma for everything (even the TERRIBLE movies you rented). 

I've been a little down since I got back. So today she took me up to the mountains to try and cheer me up. What a fabulous mom right?! It... semi worked. haha. I think she had more fun than I did. She got a new camera and was testing it out. Stopping at every available opportunity to try and capture something. She took some pretty cool pictures though I'll give that to her.

All in all, for being stuck here for the remainder of me getting better, it wasn't  too terrible. I'm definitely chompin at the bit to be out of this place. It's a weird feeling. 

I'm hitting the trail this week though so I'll be in much brighter spirits once I'm finally back out there.

My mom has been fabulous though and I couldn't ask for anyone better than her. Thank you for letting me vent nonstop and for letting me spill everything. It's so nice being able to talk to a girl... well.. actually.. it's so nice to be able to talk to you. Thank you Mom! xoxo
